Hi Sue

I took a correspondance course with All About Dog Grooming, who are based in the US. They provide manuals and vidoe tapes showing you how to most aspects of dog grooming. They also provide tools, at a cost, but I chose to build up mine as I went on.

I fould this course very informative and on-going help is still available.

I started grooming friends and neighbours dogs in May 2003 and have now groomed in the region of 400 dogs. I have a room converted to a grooming room in my home and this appeals to the owners as I do not use cages to house theor pets during drying.
At the moment I have about 100 dogs per month, and the amount is growing every day.

Word of mouth is the best way to get your business out there.

Hope this helps!

Lindsay
