Glad to hear Joe. These little Fellas can be quite sensitive. I Brought my mum and dad one of these a couple of years ago, his name is Ollie and he thinks hes human. He has just undergone major back surgery, as one of his disc exploded, they had four hours to get him operated on. he has been wonderfull, during his recovery, only having an accident twice. even though he lost the use of his back legs. Dad had a scarf he hung over the edge of his playpen, and when ollie wanted the loo he would pull it down and bark then dad would put it under his belly hold it and wheelbarrow him to the garden area. He walks unaded now three months after the op, and is a very lucky boy. BUT I do think its the type of dog he is, very smart and determined to look big whatever. id say a bit like Norman

Clue,

I've been lucky in that my dachsies backs have been ok. My mate has gone through the disc shattering experience six times!!!! Ollie is obviously a typical dachsie. Not going to let a major operation slow him down
