Desktop Computer OS market share.

There have been a few stories in tech circles recently about how Linux has reached 1.02% share of the 'market' for desktop OSes. Of course, how this data was obtained is always hotly debated... I read a theory that the best way to get an idea of what people use would be to.... ask them! As opposed to trying to use website stats etc. So, what do you run?

OoooH! I see we've got an 'other'! I wonder what it is! I'm surprised at the 0 for OS X so far!

I spend the best part of a morning making sure my Vista partition was up to date so I'm no fan either! Fortunately I hardly ever use it so don't suffer all the time...

Here's a blog entry that mentiones the same opinion that the percentage of people that DO NOT use windows is higher than is usually thought. It also raises a lot of other interesting issues...

I don't remember voting either. If I am not the one that choose Linux, it would be 2. That shows the unreliability of small groups, 20% Linux?
