Bl@@dy lucky to be alive!

This (hopefully) is a pic of Snorri Mansions. Note that the front of the Mansions is surrounded by a dry-stone dyke (i.e. loose stones, no mortar).

In a frantic attempt to get at one of the local pussy-cats, my Kali succeeded in knocking down about five feet of this wall - on himself! About a quarter-ton of boulders! Quite sufficient to turn him into pate.

How he managed to skip out unharmed from the cascade of rocks is beyond me. However, he did do one thing he hasn't done since he was a puppy (10 years ago) - he came running for protection!

Grrrrrr! Dogs! Who'd have 'em..........?

Kali is perfectly OK, though how, I dunno!

It took me some time, but I got the wall back up the same day (my arthritic hips didn't like it, though), so the wall looks much like it did beforehand.

I took the dog to the vet for an arthritis check last week (it was free! ) and not only did he pass it with flying colours, as we left, he towed me off my feet and into the vet's wall, knocking the skin off my knuckles and smashing my watch

So I guess he's none the worse for wear! I just wish I could say the same for myself!

Ah, but if I'm not mistaken, your Rocky is a bit bigger than my Kali, who's about 21" at the shoulder and just over 21 kilos And we know that you're just a wee stripling (compared to my excessive and ancient size!). Besides, I'll bet your legs don't creak!

I must say, though, that Kali is in fine fettle for his age, and he has muscles on his muscles! However, this will not help him if he stays in the demolition trade!
