Eye scratch

Hi I am collecting pup next week that has had a scratched eye. still cloudy after 3 weeks had eye drops should I be worried will it clear up? dont want to start with a blind pup!!

Id not take it no. Unless the breeder was prepared to take it to a Vet with me present, with some reassurance that it would be ok. Otherwise, Id leave it.

It should have cleared by now, I assume it now has an eye ulcer.
I wouldn't take it until the eye is clear and a vet has given it a clear bill of health

Rubys eye was scratched by our cat when she was about 10 weeks. It cleared up after a few days and treatment only went on for about 5 - 7 days i think.

I'm afraid I agree with the others.

I once had a cat who scratched his eye really badly and it went cloudy. But with the correct treatment (he was on ABs and Steroids) you could see an improvement in days, not weeks.

In my cat's case, he did go on to make a complete recovery, but I really don't like the sound of how long this pup's eye has been cloudy for.
