Perhaps your right...

We were decimated in defence towards the end and to be fair we didn't fair all that well as we dropped points.

What did go in our favour was (as per the norm) when it got to the crunch Chelsea were held a few times so we scraped in.

I think by the time all that happened the title was settled.

Our knocks (multiple) came very late on at a point where Chelsea had no room left for error and it was a bit late for them.

I suspect if our knocks had come at the same point as Chelski's (earlier / mid season) it would have been tougher for us.

I am quite happy today as richardson is off, he is having a medical on monday at sunderland. The price being quoted is £5.5mil, all I can say is sunderland must have more money the sense.

It did seem a high price but I guess at the end of the day he's a full England International & you don't get a lot for your lolly these days.

That's brilliant. I like the way the goal posts are about 3 times the height of the goalkeepers. No wonder they keep the shot's high. That kid is brill but I bet everybody gets a bit sick of him going off on his own.

Fifa has recommended that the Carlos Tevez dispute should go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

I think if we were going to move for anybody else we'd have done it by now.

I suspect Utd will just wait and see what happens and if it's too late arrange something for January as we don't need to woryy about him being cup tied for Champions League.

I think (despite having a half decent start for United & that horrific leg break / dislocation) Smith needs to play week in week out to be at his best and there's no way he's going to get that at United.

Could be a good move for him.

Yeah, but if he does go and we dont end up with tevez we are down to one forward who is not an out and out goalscorer in rooney, 2 who dont have alot of first team expeirience in dong and rossi and mr bump in saha. I know we have alot of other attacking options but I have never like relying on the midfield to score.
