Tell us about your dog's happiness...

Hi there!

At the Royal Veterinary College in London, we are interested in defining happiness in dogs - what makes them happy? How can we tell when they are happy? Do they show different behaviours for different types of happiness? We hope this research will give us a good idea about how we can make all dogs happy e.g. those in rescue kennels or those with chronic disease.

If you own a dog, please fill in our short online questionnaire, which will ask questions about a particular dog you own (have recently owned or know very well).

Your answers will really help us with our research! Please pass this on to family, friends and colleagues

Many thanks
Emma Buckland

Done but I thought it was daft - they're not going to learn much about keeping dogs happy from that!

I stopped two kids from touching a snarling, terrified collie tied up outside a shop once. They thought it was smiling at them. I went and told the owner.
So maybe it`s about perceptions?

I started it and then did not finish, I thought the questions totally ridiculous.
