Eddie, 15 month old Staffie X needs home!

His story: Owner took Eddie in as a puppy when his sister's dog had a litter. Always been loved, lived with children and adores dogs. In February he was running to meet someone when a car pulled into the park and hit him on his shoulder. Cuts and grazes ... but alas nerve damage ... his front leg now is less effective and his paw folds under. Our vet has advised more time to allow for a natural recovery. Owner moved and couldn't take Eddie with him.

Salient points: Brilliant and lovely classic 'cross breed' portfolio; 'good with everything' label. Current disability to front left leg and paw makes exercise difficult on hard ground. Needs daily stretching of limb and paw; if no further recovery in 4 weeks time may need amputation which we will pay for. Desperately needs home environment to promote his recovery and care.

Advert: Eddie is a cross breed, possibly a Staffie cross ... making him a people lover, but he is also a dog lover. Just 15 months old and Eddie is coming to terms with disability. Eddie has lost his home at a crucial time for him when he most needs love and care, he needs commitment to him as he wonders what his future will bring. He now sits in his kennel watching his companion dogs running and playing knowing he can currently manage this and may never run as freely as he did before February. Eddie is now neutered and fully vax'd.

Oh Eddie .. you are such a wonder dog. He would love a family, a garden, lovely walks and cuddles. Eddie would have been the easiest dog to home on our list had it not been for his current disability and the uncertainty of his predicament. Eddie has every thing to give and needs a family who can help him through and give him horizons geared to his needs.

"Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found"
