Update on Kendi- my friend's Jack Russell

I just got an email from Michelle- her Jack Russell has a malignant mast cell tumour on her tail. Well they had to leave Kendi at the hospital today-shes having her whole tail removed and another biopsy on a lump on her back leg. She has to stay in hospital for 3 days. Michelle is past herself with worry.She thaks you for all the prayers and good wishes that you sent 2 days ago.Im going to call her tomorrow at home- I feel so bad -Kendi is only two and she is going through all this trauma- Michelle said she feels like shes cracking up- Im typing this crying my eyes out. No dog could be more cherished, needed, loved.

Im sorry to the read such sad news of your friend and her dog Kendi. I hope they have better news about her leg. The poor woman must be out of her mind with worry.

Thanks Janet- yes Michelle is devastated by all of this- esp today when they kept Kendi in for surgery- she wasn't expecting it. Shes not been apart from Kendi for more than a day since her partner gave her the pup at 8 weeks I am calling her tomorrow afternoon- she hasnt stopped crying for days....

Poor little kendi and your poor friend.. she must be distraught.. at least Kendi is in the right place getting the care she needs at this time.. Poppy and Willow send healing doggie licks to them both and a big hug from me

Thanks so much u guys- i think its stage 3 too which is not good- very poor survival rate.....Im cryin my eyes out here Michelle loves this pup like a child believe me

Thank you Jackie- Michelle is waiting just now to hear from the surgeon who operated earlier- Im so tired am off to bed but am calling Michelle in New York tomorrow to see how things have gone.......
