I wish you the best of luck and happiness for the future.
I had a New Start too, although it wasn`t amicable. But being able to make my own decisions, live by my own rules and make my own mistakes was a wonderful release.

Sorry to hear this Steph but, reading your posts, I understand your reasons. I'm glad that your split will be as amicable as it can be, you and Pat have shared a lot in life together and it is always a shame when things turn bitter. People change during their lives and want different things and that doesn't always coincide with what their OH wants. It's not always anyone's fault, it's just the way life is.xx

Steph massive hugs to you.
I am so sorry you have had to come to this decision but I admire you so much for having the strength to being able to make it.
You are doing whats best for you and giving yourself a chance at happiness. You get one shot in life and you have to grab it with both hands.

This is come as a shock to be honest but I admire your courage you are so brave.
Some times it's easier to stay togther for the wrong reasons than to part for the right ones especially where children are involved.
Good luck hun I'm sure where ever you go you'll be happy xxx

Steph as we get older it becomes more and more apparent that our lives are really quite short and not a moment should be wasted.
If you really are not happy with your present 'life choice' be brave and make the changes.

Whatever you choose to do there will be elements of your old life that you will miss but have no regrets, other things will come along to compensate if you are able to recognise them and grasp the opportunities they offer.

I have made many huge life changes and don't regret any of them. I am that rare thing a truly contented person

Good luck Steph.

Steph, you are one very brave lady. Live the life you want to lead not the one you think people would want you to live.

You cant stay where you are not happy thats just a waste of your life.

I wish you well in your move and hope you find the contentment you deserve xx
