Yeah i think i'll just stick to his regular kibble, i just get sucked in sometimes but thats what they want dont they also harvey isn't much of a cruncher so i suppose smaller kibble wouldn't really suit him anyway.
Hmmm.. i wonder what those special ingredients are, never heard of it before.

They've been listed in the ingredients for at least 4 years. They're not listed on the cereal free ones though (Lamb and Vegetable and Turkey and Vegetable I think the cereal free ones are).

Maybe they've stopped it then. Website still has it listed as an ingredient in the turkey and rice and at the time I was feeding it it was definitely listed on the bag.

Checked my bags of JWB food and treats - no 'secret ingredients' on either.

Anyway, I'm delighted with how both my dogs are doing on JWB.

Sounds like they may have stopped with the whole secret ingredient thing then.

It's a very good marketing ploy by the company

It is, but it may also benefit really small breeds such as Yorkies etc.

Or giant breeds with the large breed food. Rupert sometimes struggles to get the normal kibble between his teeth to crunch it and he's only Lab size. I'd imagine something like a Mastiff or St Bernard would benefit from bigger pieces.
