Sleep tight

About half of all pet owners share their beds or bedrooms with their pets. Studies about co-sleeping are limited to the bedtime arrangements of adults, or parents and their children. Researchers say that society regards both human-animal and adult-child co-sleeping with apprehension. These concerns should be set aside because both practices have their benefits, says the lead author of a new study. https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...0622104001.htm

Out of Interest

The expression "sleep tight" originated when wooden bed frames had rope between them to sleep on. To have a good sleep the inn keeper was paid extra to tighten the ropes enabling a good nights sleep

A wooden stave was inserted in the loops on the outside frame edge and turned until the ropes became tight
