Let's see the TREE

I always love looking at all the different trees on display in the stores around this time, and thought it would be interesting if people posted their trees. Everyone decorates differently and it could be interesting. I'll post mine in a moment since this idea came before the photo!!

Here is our poor tree. Let's just say that we are not so good at selecting and decorating trees. But it will have to do! He has a tiny red sister who supports him.

Please excuse the wall patches, we could not find the paint to paint over them so just said forget it, and excuse any clutter. Not much under the tree yet, but there will be quite a few more before Christmas morning.

Pathetic that there are no kids here, only 4 adults and we still bother with wrapping each other's gifts and the pets, too. Oh, well! Tradition sometimes sticks, I suppose.

Oh, and I know there are no bulbs near the bottom. The cats swipe them all off so we no longer place bulbs on the bottom.

My Dear I think that is a lovely tree! I am getting a new camera tomorrow. Our tree came out nice this year. Over decades we always collected cat ornaments. Even our nativity is feline. But then along the way I started finding bully ornaments too. So the tree is becoming a nice mix.

Oh, thank you. Can't wait to see yours. You know, that tree looked better before I took a photo of it. All I can see now looking at it is pretty lights and shimmery stuff. I cannot see the gappy bulbs, crooked and falling off garland, or anything else that the photograph easily shows lol.

Oh, wonderful Mandy. Yours looks great and the doggy bed right near it is cute, too. Does the dog lie there, or is is a gift that won't fit? If the dog lies there, that would make for a great Christmas photograph, too!

Now I think I see why my tree sucks, not enough bulbs! We don't use glass ones anymore, and when Nigredo was a puppy, he got into a box of styrofoam ones and destroyed them all pretty much. I was too angry to buy more since it was a waste.

The cats have swatted and carried many off over the years, as well. We don't even put bulbs near the bottom anymore, the cats will just swat them all off and it'll end up empty looking like that anyway.

Nippy, yours is great, too. Loving the candy canes. We had those last year, but alas Nigredo loves peppermint and so NEVER again.
