Lynn, my thoughts are with you, life is bl**dy horrid sometimes and i don't blame you for not feeling christmassy
Moyra, do you have a walk in centre near you? if you do get steve to take you there to get some help, i use mine or my emergency doctors and they are quite good
TW glad to hear your friend is doing better
Gordon, hope the rest sorts you out...perhaps a day with your feet up would help?
if anyone finds my get up and go could they please send it back in my direction... the only thing i have managed today is to take down deagans smaller metal crate and set up her new big girl crate.... this one is fabric so i hope she doesn't chew it

Griff, I too hope she doesn't chew it. I do not know of any walk in centres around here. Shall just have to finish the a/bs and see where I go from there. My dad died of lung cancer when he was 50 so I am concerned but I haven't smoked for about 14/15 years but steve does in the house and sometimes I find his smoke starts my coughing off. I have to admit more often or not if it is not foul outside he will sit out on the patio and smoke. Wish he did all his smoking outside. I shouldn't encourage him by buying his smokes for him.

My friend dialled 111 for NHS Direct and they were really helpful and put her through to a qualified nurse, who (amongst other things) told her where the Drop in Centres were in her particular area so may help if you do that Moyra, then you are armed for battle if needs be. I agree, you shouldn't be buying Steve smokes!!!

Hi Lynn, I haven't posted much on this as you say it's difficult, but please don't think my lack of posts is not caring, I do. I think you and the familly do need to know but also agree that Gill doesn't need to know that you know if you understand that.

Moyra, google your post code and walking centres and you should find it. I was told that by day 4 of the antibiotics i should see an improvement and they tell me if not to go back. I don't seem to have much success with amoxyciilin but coamoxiclav seems to work quite well, to be honest i would turn up 8am at the Drs and refuse to leave until i was seen
i don't like Christmas cake or pudding or mince pies or yule log.....proper little grinch me lol
