Cheapest Travel to Paris?

Charlys boyfriend wasnts to take her to Paris to see the new year in. Do any of you know the cheapest way to travel there? They would be going from Colchester Essex

The train where you take your car on is cheapest I think but I wouldn't wish driving in Paris or any European capital on my worst enemy! Eurostar is probably their best bet but I never found it that cheap

Eurostar is probably the easiest if they look for the best deals on their website, but not cheap at that time of year unfortunately.

What abut looking for a package deal that includes hotel and travel as that can often work out cheaper?
