I think pretty much like people all dogs are different, Rio breezed through hers without any signs of any discomfort or change in habits at all.

All five of my girls act differently through their seasons but they were all depressed and whining during their very first one. after that they have been quite good all apart from one cleans themselves up really well and i sometimes forget they are in season (diggi always reminds me ). they can become very cuddling and wanting to spend even more time with me than normal. but i would say the biggest pain is that i can't walk them and they get very hyper.

I think bitches are the same as humans when it comes to that time, depending on the individual they are all different. My bitch needs more love and affection from me.

I think it varies, when Misty came in all she wanted was to curl up in the corner & be left alone, she only moved to eat & toilet.

At training class yesterday one of the bitches had come into her first season (Wilson pointed out she was in season ) and she was behaving in a very sluggish manner. Some of my bitches have been hunched up in pain and others have shown little sign at all. So as like people all are different. But if they do suffer I know exactly how they feel!
