Daily Thread, Tuesday, 18th October

Good morning everyone, getting a lot darker in the mornings now. Steve is still not right that cyst that burst has not healed up must try and get him a doctors appointment this morning.

Lovely to see Eileen back. Sorry to hear your mum is not so good though Eileen. Babies will soon be walking unaided then if they are using walkers. Bligh that's how you start off life and how you end up as I couldn't manage without my walker.

Glad Carriad is exercising her rights to be waited on bless her. Zen certainly likes to be outside doesn't she.

Doesn't look too bright out there this morning Amber hasn't come for her breakfast yet.

Norma, glad Bumblesnout did well on her outing with the big boys.

Jenny and Mandy and Brenda, hope all is well with you

Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless.

Good morning everyone

Hope you get an appointment for Steve this morning Moyra

Nice to see you Eileen Sorry to read about your mum gentle hug to her and will keep her in my thoughts. Yes little ones nearly 10 months. My son is different with their names as his wife wanted English sounding ones so other than Maria which is typically Brazilian we have Ana (although spelt how they do) and Sarah. Sarah not walking yet but very frustrated if she can't see what everyone is doing

Enjoy your lie in Griff you deserve to take more care of yourself.

Don't go over doing it Gordon we need you to keep us all in line

Dull and wet here but managed to get Teazle out in between the rain but it started just as we got to the back gate so home dry.

Have a good day and stay safe.

Blue sky here now, has been raining and quite damp and grey earlier. I read that the met office can now forecast the weather a year ahead, but all I need is to know what we will get TODAY, wall to wall rain forecast, blue skies and sun is what we've got, much prefer it of course
Bone run later, will give them a ring to double check.
If you're happy and comfy where you are Griff, stay there
Nice to see you Eileen, hugs to your mum

Morning all typed a l post for the daily but lost it.
Briefly it was this

Up at 6 out with Cassie run in fields well track spoke to the farmer - who was happy with his harvest. Also told me "Thank you" I told the farmer about a reg number I saw who was fly tipping onto his fields/gate recesses the council had taken action.
Back home had breakfast I had toast and marmite Cass had tuna and mixer. Then I took the car in for MOT and service back home now and line of washing out work tops and trousers. fingers crossed although it looks overcast the weather is blowing but cool no rain.

Can see it now blowing well. Just took Cass round the block and now waiting for MrSainsburys with my shop now.

Have a good day all.

well done Kazz, my dad works for the council cutting grass and he said he went past a farmers field and to begi with there was just a little rubbish in the gateway...still farmers lad so he gets the bill, went back the other day and a big lorry had obviously backed up through the gate breaking it and tipped a load of rubbish, he said it was nearly as high as a house!!! poor farmer having to pay to clear that lot and most likely have it happen again
lovely photo Tumblweed
Sue, funny how people can be different about the names, the ocatavio name means eight or something which is supposed to mean no beginning or end or something...i was drunk when it was explained Lol
TW, i can predict the weather a year in advance too.....not sure it would be right but then they very rarely get the weather right in advance anyway Lol
Lacey, you are an early starter now...5am, i was still fast off Lol
Moyra, i do hope you get the Drs appointment for Steve, you can't risk that getting infected
Steve has just text me, so i called him back, he has to go to birmingham today for training and back to work tomorrow, he is already stressing about it, i have told him not to get wound up before he even gets there as he will not concentrate properly

I know what you mean Griff. I have over the last few years noticed more and more rubbish being dumped around the perimeter of the farm is split where I go by a quiet backroad well as quiet as you can get in Birmingham LOL there everything from worktops to fridges, black bags to beds.
This time I was lucky I was walking back to the car which in the evening and early morning I park in the farm entrance. But the hedge must of obscured me as I know I ofwhten see vans etc pull up then drive off myself and a couple of other dog walkers have noticed this so we sort of keep watch. The chap who does the nordic walking is quiet good at watching out. So I stopped watched him then wrote down the reg number and the name on the side of the van........one of the few times I had my glasses in my pocket. Lucky for the farmer bad luck for the chap.
