I really need ideas for my hen night...

Please help!!!!! I really had better be organising my hen do...but it feels like a chore rather than something I should be looking 4ward too!!

I dont really fancy going out clubbing (I know Im only 22, but I prefer bars and not meat markets...hehe)

My ideal hen do would be to spend a night in a spa hotel, having a 3 course meal there and just staying in the bar, but I have priced up a few of these and they are around £180 a night. I am willing to spend this but my hens may not be.

Does anyone have any other ideas of something a little different I could do??

Im also worried about getting money from ppl. It appears many friends and colleagues are all up for coming on my hen do...but I have this worry that when it comes down to needing payment...many will back off??? I dont know, Im just sick of worrying about it to be honest!!

Any suggestions will be greatfully received...
xxx

Isn't it the in thing now to go away for a couple of days and stay at a good Hotel abroad somewhere? Everytime I've been away, there's always been some hen or stag night going on at the week-end? That would give them all a nice short break too in the sun? I think they all go to Prague now don't they, maybe it's quite cheap to go there for something like this???

Btw, where's the stag do then????!!!!

It's for meeeeeee, go away!!!!! I've been waiting for this for ages!!!!

He looks very handsome indeed, a bit like my hubby looked in his top and tails (26 years ago now though). You're certainly going to make a very handsome couple both on the day and forever more I hope!!!! Well, apart from what that old thing called age does to you, you'll never stop that!!!

Don't you wear grey on a wedding day though??? I just thought you did and the black was for the evenings??? My hubby's was grey, and they call it a morning suit or something don't they? He'd look just as good in either anyway, but I must say I prefer the black.

Now that paintballing sounds fun, always wanted to do that, much better than sitting down with a load of old cackling hens!!! Always been a tom boy though me!!!

I hope you find something good and enjoyable, at not too great a cost too, but apart from the going abroad thing I can't really think of anything else. Your hotel sounds a good idea, but you can't really be raucous in a Spa Hotel can you? I'm sure they want to be raucous your friends and do loads of horrible things to you? Maybe even just a nice meal out somewhere perhaps, that'd be cheaper wouldn't it? Taxi home or hire a minibus instead of paying for an overnight stay?

That is a good idea...I must say, we could get a minibus into Lincoln and my friends from far away could stay at mine...very good thinking..!!!! Yeah the suit on the piccy isnt the exact one, the one he will wear is black pinstrip trousers with a dusky pinc cravat (that will be the colour of my bridesmaids when I pick the dresses!!!)

I will have a look into how much a minibus would cost!! xxxx

We went up to the peak district for my friends hen weekend and had a great time,
There were about 3 carloads of us,She was surprised how many actually came and it was £100 odd quid each (Can't quite remember exactly how much now but the more there were of us the cheaper the accomodation was.
We all left fri after work and came home on the sunday,we had a mad girlie night in on the friday, went out shopping and to see the caves etc Saturday daytime and had drinks and a BBQ that night,To top it off before we left Sunday we went out hacking in the hills in Flash before going home,
II can honestly say it was much more fun than i thought it would be and would reccomend it,The place we stayed was fab it was like a Counrty hall/house split into apartments and there were only two others occupied so we had free run of the place, the owners left us to it after initially showing us around, the grounds were beautiful, they even had a playhouse out there with two floors,a ball pit etc
Well, you can imagine about 15 drunken women throwing themselves down fireman poles and into ball pits...we had such a laugh (There were no children staying at the time lol ! ) If it had of had a spa it would have been perfect
Here's the link to the place we stayed which was a couple mins drive from Buxton but i'm sure theres loads of others,
