Riots in london..

Might be just a rumour but it is going to start in enfield north london ..

I have heard this too. Michael has to get to Streathem tonight. Not sure where from he has gone on a go carting afternoon with his friend and being dropped off at a station so he can get home.

Now I am going to have to do the worried mum thing and text him I hate doing that. His ex lives in Enfield I hope she will be ok if this is true.

I used to live in Enfield, before I moved to Chelmsford.

My younger brother still lives there, I couldn't get hold of him this afternoon though I really hope he is ok. I believe he was going away on holiday with my dad this weekend though so hopefully he isn't even int he country!

Many of my friend were on FB saying they were being moved out of Enfield Town, and police were heading that way because of the riots.

My friend up there is saying they attacked jd sport..
Nothing politacal about tonight..

Gorden assures me Michael does not have to go near Enfield or Tottneham to get home unless he decides to make a diversion to see whats kicking off I don't think thats very likely.

His ex has lots of family near by so I am sure they will make sure she is ok. I hope it doesn't turn out like last night.

I am also glad I saw my brother last week, as his train goes through Tottenham Hale to get home! I usually drive via Walthamstow to get to Enfield... very glad I have no immediate need to go that way atm. Many roads have been shut off. Many people will find it extremly hard to get around as the road that cuts through Enfield leads to the A10, M25 & M11. It is a big area for industrial buisnesses too.

Loads of shops on the a10 retail parks ..

I feel sorry for anyone caught up in the riots, I hope nobody else gets hurt.

Just heard my cousin got caught up in the riots whilst trying to get home, as they live on the edge of Enfield Town - Seen on one video on the BBC the road they live on swarming with people Atm they have been lucky the house hasn't been targetted, but many of their friends' houses have.

I just dont see what the point is
