I tend to think it also appears to condone and accept what the puppy farming industry do. A bit like aiding and abetting them really.

I'd look on it more as giving a dog a chance of a decent life.

Yeah - I agree.

The bottom line is they* are helping puppy farmers get rid of unwanted/used/abused stock - and helping make way for more to follow in their place.

(*any rescue who takes ex-breeders from PFs)

So you don't think they should give the dogs a chance at a decent life.

Thats what I thought but you didn't seem clear about it.

I think we all agree the problems will continue until the legislation is tightened and PF's can no longer operate

Until the public look beyond the cute puppies and stop financially supporting the PF's

at the end of the day what will stop PF's is if they could no longer make money from farming puppies

Personally I dont think we should be wasting time and energy slating those who feel the need to help the few have a chance at a happy life
We should be putting this amount of energy into stopping PF's

So
any ideas? what can we as a group do??

Perhaps all those people who disagree with people taking ex-puppymill breeders or puppies could do something constructive about the problem?

And who are you to pass the final judgement on that?

There are certainly issues in rescue, but all those involved ARE dog lovers trying to do their bit for the well-being of the dogs.
