2012 Dog Awards
You may remember last year's My Pet Superstar competition. I represent the marketing agency responsible for publicising the awards and we are getting in touch to announce that due to the success of this year’s campaign, we are very pleased to announce that in 2012 there will be another Drontal awards, this time exclusively for dogs!
So if you have dog, the 2012 competition will celebrate all the things that make our four-legged friends truly unique and loveable in their own special way. In the run up to next year’s competition, we are looking for your inspirational, funny and unique dog stories to help drive the search for Britain’s top dogs. The categories for the 2012 competition will be:
• Most entertaining video: Entries can vary from footage of dogs doing clever tricks, to funny moments accidently caught on camera, even dogs singing along to their favourite tune!
• Most heroic pet: This category will be focused on bravery and daring stories e.g. heroic acts, surviving hazardous situations or stories of surviving traumatic illnesses or injury.
• Most loveable mutt: This category leaves you free to enter any image based on why they think their dog is lovable, whether it is because you love dressing your pet up, or if you think your dog is the cutest around, or even if your dog isn’t the prettiest but you still love him.
• The ‘Special Bond’ Award: This category will be photo and story based, celebrating the pets that have formed a special bond with their owner i.e. Man’s Best Friend. This could be anything from helping a family member through a difficult time in their lives, to being a guide dog for the blind, or simply being man’s best friend.
The official competition will be launching early in the New Year, however we would love to hear from you now if you think your dog deserves recognition, would make a great campaign ambassador and if you have a story that might be of interest to the press.
If so, please drop us an email with a top line summary and a photo/video of your dog and we will be in touch!
