A strange day indeed
Today started well as we all got into the car to go out. We arrived at a big field but I was not allowed to go and play with all the other dogs. There were lots of dogs and lots of big animals jumping over my agility jumps. One man who was sitting on top of his animal hit it with a stick when it would not jump. I think he should use cheese like mum does. I jump really nicely for that.
I saw some strange animals with big ears who shouted eeyore at me. I was scared and tried to hide behind mums legs. They were ok really as some children were on their backs.
Next we went to watch some Fingal dogs . They had to sit when a man blew the whistle then run round looking for some packets. They had to jump over a fence but they could not jump as high as me. I did not like the bangs the man made and then a silly big boy popped his balloon right next to me. It really scared me.
Afterwards mum took me into a ring. I was excited because I thought I was going to do my agility but someone had taken away all the jumps. I had to sit down still and wait for a lady to come and see me. She stopped to talk to some of the dogs and stroked them . When it was my turn she did not really say hello properly. I tried to jump up and give her a kiss but she went to see the dog next to me. We waited for a while longer then I got a big hug from mum who said I was brilliant.
We soon walked back towards the car. My children took mummy on a strange machine that sang songs and had lots of lights on it. I was upset cos I wanted to go with her. I started to bark and the machine started to move. It went faster and faster and moved forwards and backwards whizzing round and round . I could hear mum screaming but the man would not make it stop. At last I saw my mum, she gave me a huge hug, we were both so glad that we were together again.Time to go home mum said.
A strange day indeed.
