Depends

Time of year, what my schedule is like, place etc.

I restrict access to bones and then either stick it outside where it cannot be accessed by other animals or put it in the freezer.

Until the bone starts "air freshening" the room with it's scent lol. They're not usually around long enough for that though

One of mine is currently trotting about with a bone from sometime during the summer. They like to bury them till they are extra pungent!!!

I get some marrow bones from the butcher and one i think ive had it for well over a year. I cleaned it once the dog had took all the marrow out of it, then filled it with treats and stuff for her. Bang it in the micro and put cheese in it, and roll it about so it glues to the sides. She loves it lol. It doesnt smell tho

I usually let him have it for an hour or so then pop it back in the freezer in between. He can keep having it until it's finished.

Urm - depends on the type of bone, atm I have a few bits of Cow spine hanging about.. they chew all the meat off, will have a little nibble - I'll probably throw them away in a few days.

I usually just leave it with him... he either eats it, or buries it I occasionally have to pick it up after him, but not very often.
