Hello everyone, no improvement here so it will be back to bed. Any one know what COPD is because they suspect I have this too. as if an infection in my feet and UTI isnt enough.

Any way folks back to bed for me. Steve is coming into his own he has fed and walked Amber regular, fed and watered me with cups of tea and bacon sandwiches and hen a nice ham omelette with cheese and sautee potatoes last night. He admits the sight of me in hospital with tubes up my nose, tubes to my inner arm injecting antibiotics and and another lot in my wrist to check my block contact was a bit much for him with all these sticky pads stuck all over me. Still I am hope and must now obey orders if I am to get well.

Have a good day everyone, God bless. miss joining in.

Morning Sue and all who follow.
Goodness already been busy Sue and more to come.

Lovely bright sunny day here just trying to convince Dillon to come for a stroll he seems happy lazing about under the big tree. Will have a game if he doesn't feel like a walk we have great bouncing games on the gravel at the bottom of the garden.

Hope the ankles are responding to the ab's Moyra and that Lauryn is feeling better today Mandy. Also hope any other poorlies feel better soon.

Good morning fellow members the sun is shining for once
though it is very cold here after a heavy frost.

I don't have Hannah today, it is half term so I am catching up on some of the bigger cleaning jobs.

I think I have a cold coming which is not surprising when all the family have one . I feel like wearing a surgical mask when babysitting either one or other of the children seems to have something nasty..

Enjoy your day everyone

Morning all. My OH went to work early so after I sorted the dogs out have sneaked another hour back in bed.

Moyra I googled COPD = chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder. Get as much rest as possible and let your son do as much as he can.

I did a bit of plant moving yesterday and found a space for some Alium bulbs. Bit late I know.

Griff tell that person who read your weight to go to specsavers!

I need a couple of photo frames but don't fancy trolling round any of the shops at half term, too many germs and I would have to wear a mask!!

I've forgotten what everybody else is up to - making pancakes possibly?

Morning all. Nice and sunny here to. Sue be careful with the plants they have said frost later in the week. Pleased to hear you are being looked after Moyra. Get well soon. Griff you sound amazing with your knowledge of cars. June I have been looking at various foods for dogs and they say that bananas are not easily digested by dogs. Do you feed yellow ones or really ripe? Hope your cold doesn't develop into anything Meg. Hopefully it will be just a day thing like my hubby's. Morning Lynn and Twix. Well must away and do. ttfn.

Lovely morning here, the cars were frozen earlier on,blue sky now and sunshine. Off on the bone run in an hour. Moyra, you have obviously been soldiering on when you shouldn't have been and glad Steve got a shock when he saw the results of that and I really hope that is a wake up call and he starts to pull his weight. Any chance of the council rehousing you now due to your very obvious ill health. Sue, is it not too early to plant out yet, seen a few pansies, and there is still cold weather forecast, particularly as we seem to get America's weather 6 weeks or so later, and its not good over there I did plant some bulbs, but then the wet weather started and I never finished planting as everywhere as saturated, some are in, need to go and have a look at them now it has cleared up somewhat. Twix, its Pancake Tuesday, forgot about that one Gosh Meg, be careful, or you'll get another chest infection, trouble with young kids they pick up everything going at school, then bring it home with them and infect everyone. Brenda, I've been giving mine bananas for years, sometimes they are greener than others, I do leave the skins on, apart from Keshi, the others mastered the art of squashing them to get the banana out, Keshi sits and looks at hers, so I peel the top bit, and then she's fine, silly girl lol. Lynn have a lovely day with Dillon playing games, you still need Down Time after the last month of stress, how did you end up with Matt by the way

Lol, i am certainly a lot happier with the weight i weighed myself at Twix, nearly passed out when the bmi calculator came up at obese Lol
Brenda, that is a nice thing to say... i developed an obsession with cars at about 5 years old, i knew i would either be a vet or mechanic, the plan was to leave school and join the army but mum wouldn't sign me in so i got accepted for an apprenticeship.. they had trouble placing me as i was female so i went off and got my own job with another training organisation...long and short of it is i was offered an apprenticeship with a land rover dealership which was better than where i was so i took it.... best time of my life Lol, i was accepted instantly by the lads who were fiercely protective of me, all was great until the new dealer principal showed up who was very very old school, was unhappy with females in a male environment... i had an accident was supposed to be off sick for 6 weeks but got bored after 1 week so got put into the office for the remainder of the time... he asked me how long was i going to be out of the workshop for, i said at least another 2 weeks and he said i had 2 weeks to get back in there or i would have to restart my apprenticeship... i was 2 months from qualifying! i went back into the workshop the following week but 2weeks after that i was made redundant from the workshop and sent into parts...funny that! i went off to have my surgery, i had another job lined up working for another land rover specialist... sadly i never recovered, i was called into work and was told i was getting made redundant...again! the dealer principal said it was a shame i never qualified, my mum just laughed and asked how long had i been qualified and i said at least 6 months Lol...his face was awesome! i had my city and guilds certificates sent to my house as that was how the training group had set it up Lol, the company had paid for all my training, thought i had failed, were making me redundant and paying me off and the realisation on their faces when they realised i could go and work fully qualified elsewhere was brilliant Lol
