Roxanne, Crossbreed, DOB 2011 – Godstone, Surrey


Homing Requirements: Roxanne needs a supportive home where she can blossom. She may be happiest as an only dog, a lot will depend on her potential owner's experience. Roxanne would enjoy easy access to an enclosure/secure exercise area.

Her Story: Roxanne is a beige brindle medium large crossbreed dog who was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed. Roxanne was spayed but when opened up she was found already spayed. She is now fully vaccinated and chipped. Currently in boarding kennels near Godstone, Surrey.

Advert: Roxanne is a little lost in rescue kennels and she seeks reassurance but soon relaxes once assured. She is calm in her disposition and is not a puller. She wants to be with you and she always feels part of a partnership.

Roxanne is a Fawn Brindle medium large crossbreed. She is a lovely dog who once settled in her home will be a true asset. She takes everything in her stride, assesses and sees that she can trust. She needs her handler to guide her as she finds her way in the new life that will open up before her.

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.

An update from one of our volunteer walkers on Roxanne:

"Rachel & I met this wonderful majestic lady today. She was a little timid at first but once out she soon perked up - so so good on the lead, she doesn't pull at all - didn't react to other dogs close by.

It didn't take long for her to realise what it means when your hand goes into a pocket and there's the rustle of a plastic bag.

She is a real gentle giant ...
