This is the trouble, isn't it?
If you go with one company and then have to claim, you can't change companies, because they'll exclude, so you have to get it right the first time.
I was very lucky, i was with a company that excluded, and pet pals told me that i would be covered with them. About a year later, they tried to exclude the condition, but i'd got it in writing that Biddy's back problem would be covered, so they had to honour it.
I have a yearly limit per condition. The limit is £4000. Which i think is plenty for my little uns. Every january, i get another £4000.
The only thing was in January, Dillon did his back in, on the 3rd. On the 4th, my policy was renewed, so i ended up having to pay 2 excesses. Which i thought was a bit of a dupe.
