Just come on here, and whilst I have been expecting a post from you in such a vein, it is still heartbreaking to read.

Good luck on your journey Georgie.......you have wormed your way into a great many hearts, and as for you Helena - nothing that I can say will help you, but I am glad that your friend will be there for you this week.

xxxxxxxx

Aitch, I'm heart-sore for you honey. I know how much you love old Georgie and that you are doing the absolute only thing you can for him at this time.

I also know how much pain this will cause you and my heart goes out to you.

Much love and kisses and woos from the Gingers....

Go gently, Big Fella.

What a wonderful end you are giving him...dignified, surrounded by love, and stuffed with rump steak.

xx

What a sad post ! My 13 1/2 year old suffered from spondylitis and I had to carry him into the vets on his last day.

It all happened so quickly - him losing the use of his back legs and bowels within the last week of his life.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this and there is nothing anybody can say to make it easy.
