Advice please

Well, discovered a good way to build up my stamina. Tabbing. It's a military version of speed walking but with a 20lb load on your back (I think). I'm thinking of getting a long line for Dougal but is using that better with a harness or collar? He's not one for trying to yank me off my feet when he spots something and has no prey instinct at all...he's just more interested in sniffing at things. So not sure a harness would be needed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Personally I would prefer a harness with a long line just in case there is an incident that caused Dougal to run off. But if you are 100% sure this would not happen then a line attached to a collar probably won't be a problem.

Good luck with the "tabbing"
