Salukis often keep themselves on the lean side. On another forum a lady reported carrying a letter from her vet explaining hers was well cared for to show if she was reported to the RSPCA.

My personal opinion is that a dog should be offered enough food to hide its ribs. However, they do just fine showing a little rib. Certainly better that the common overfed ones. I see no problem if you cut back a little to get her back to where she was.
