To take hold of a strange dog by the collar and try to make him do something is asking for trouble .
I really hope Max has landed with people who are a bit more sensible this time

yes i hope they are more dog savvy. The dog sitter grilled the person who got bitten and has passed on all the info to the new owners with storng advise of how to use positive methods etc. She had had him for weeks and never had an issue with getting him off the sofa, but then holding onto his collar would not be something she would do with a dog she didn't know.

Fingers crossed for him.
