I have a Ford escort estate which has been great. I can fit 3 comfortably in the boot. It has been very reliable. I have had it for 7 years with very few problems. Now I need a bigger car since I am hoping to get another dog!
The next size up in estates is quite a lot bigger than the escort. I don't really want a car that is too big because we live in narrow lanes. I was wondering about a small van. Any suggestions?
Sue

My neighbour has one...massive chunky thing. No idea how it drives though.

I'd say you certainly don't need something that size for just you and a dog.

My bro in law has one and its a fantastic car. Very comfy with lots of "extras". The boot area is massive and the car seating so nice. His has two sun roofs

Have you seen the Honda Element? They have a model in the US that is specifically geared for dogs including a dog ramp that is built in! I dont know if they have this particular model in the UK but maybe worth investigation. I thought it pretty impressive.
