Most of us don't like the way we look frequently for reasons no one else notices. I was told by my step mother that I was ugly and I hated my long neck and eyes like a cat and spent half my life hiding them I know now these things were not important.
Unfortunately it isn't until we get older that we realise time is short and better spent on things other than our appearance, if only we had known this when young. If we could be taught when children to accept our looks and to appreciate the differences in each other our lives would be much more enjoyable.

Thanks Mini, but I hate photos of myself and did try to be brave and put one up but after being called an old old aunt and an agony aunt thought it might be better to take it down If I ever get a better one I will put it up again
