THIS article will explain it. And if your dog does have Addison's Disease, as the article says:

Once recognized and treated, Addisonian dogs tend to live quite normal lives.

I don't know much about addisons disease in dogs, but I know a lot about it in humans as it is hereditary in my family. I hope if it is addisons disease your dog is diagnosed quickly and put on tablets. Then he should start to improve. My brother is on tablets for live he has to take them every day, but as malka says he leads a regular life, apart from that so I guess its the same for dogs and humans. Hoping your dog gets the medication he needs asap xx

Okay its not Addisons Disease. We are back to Kidney disease.
He has very high calcium....which could leave deposits in his organs .

Glad you have had confirmation that your boy doesn't have Addison's disease. Hope your vet has given you some advice about how to manage his kidney problems and that you will be able to enjoy your lovely boy for a long time.
