Best Complete Pup Dry Food

After years of using Bakers complete and Pedegree complete i was just told to change them for another brand ,as if you look at the ingrediantes you notice only 4% is meat the rest is colourings and additives.Could someone point me in the right direction for an alternative/better complete food with more meat.At the moment i am feeding a 7 month GSD with Bakers complete and butchers tinned meat twice a day.

Arden Grange without a shadow of a doubt. Having raised 4 litters on it I can honestly say it is superb. Had other breeders who swapped onto it and they have all said that puppies raised on AG are superior to previous litters raised on other brands!

I try, wherever possible, to avoid foods with artificial additives and Bakers/Pedigree has more than it's fair share! I've fed AG for over 10 years without any problems at all.

Well...it also has to depend on budget.Arden grange is good but expensive.Red mills(www.redmills.co.uk) is also very good but if these 2 are too expensive Autarky(http://www.csjk9.com/feed/autarky.html) is excellent. No additives, all natural etc

Star has been fed on bakers for a couple of years now and fine with it.

As archer said budget is a lot to do with it, Star had bakers as money was tight with all Storms ops and was fine so there is no reason to change, Skye however is on royal cannin as is thriving on it.

Really all any of us can do is recommend what we feed but as long as your dog does well it's just that personally I would avoid artificial additives and colours etc where possible. AG is cheaper than Burns or JWB rrp!

I agree with Archer re. Autarky - totally additive free.
