Halti harness update

I tried to update my thread from before, but I couldn't

We have been on a couple of walks with the Halti harness and already there's a difference!

I won't say he doesn't pull, but when he does a gentle pull on the "front" lead stops him! No tugging, no arm-wrenching, he just drops back to walk beside me!

It's helped me, as I don't feel so stressed on a walk, as I used to be constantly being pulled, and pulling back, and we couldn't ever walk side-by-side. We managed a whole stretch of beachfront at "heel"

Whenever I correct Max's pulling I say "Max, slow", so I'm hoping that he will associate the command with slowing down and not pulling when we move him back to a flat lead and collar.

Now all we have to work on is his recall, as he is selectively deaf when he wants to be...

Theres no doubt about it, a halti gives you a lot more control.
