My heart goes out to you Karen and to our beautiful girl. I dont have any personal experience of this condition, but wish you well with whatever route you decide is best for your girl. I will be thinking of you both on Tuesday - do please let us know the results and what options have been offered.

Milo was diagnosed in July 2011 and I had to have him pts in April 2012, so not very long. He didn't seem to develop any mets (not that were found anyway) but had more primary tumours (something my vet had thought extremely unlikely). Otherwise we were hoping he would have another 12-18 months as he was coping so well!

From diagnosis to him being PTS, was around 4/6 weeks.

This form of cancer is extremely aggressive, and once diagnosed , the time-scale is not usually long.

He was on Tramadol, the highest dosage he could have, and at the end it did not touch the sides of the pain he was in.

You need to wait to see what you are dealing with, if its spread into her chest or other areas before you decide what to do.
