Long time lurker

Hi.
I have been a member of Dogsey for a while and thought it was time to put pen to paper and introduce myself.

Its taken a while, not just because I'm lazy but Samuel my fourteen year old Boxer/Lurcher cross passed away, As you are all aware its never pleasant when a loyal friend passes and I took it very badly indeed.

Over the months my friends who are all dog owners attempted to persuade me to get a puppy, they would show me adverts and tell me about any litters that were imminent, however I just could'nt.

However I read an advert in the local paper for a rescue centre near to where I live, it specialises in rehoming Greyhounds, as I have always liked the gangly look of Longdogs I thought it would'nt hurt to take a look,

After a lot of soul searching and a visit or two to the centre I decided to take the plunge and after a successful home visit and interview, I now have Jack.

This is the day that I picked him up.







I was'nt too happy with his condition and weight.





This is him now, I think he is coming along nicely.

Sorry to hear you lost your lovely Samuel Jack's gorgeous Well Done for rescuing

He looks super now, you must be very proud.
