I'm NOT going!

So this morning, being a stonking beautiful morning I thought time to go for a run. As usual, got into my trackies, and all my stuff that I normally take...went into the living room and Dougal took one look, spotted the trackies and when I sat down to put on my trainers he lay down on his bed and refused to move. Even when I got his lead out, he just put his head down and decided that no, he was not running today thank you!

LOL, methinks he doesn't like it....funny puppy...maybe I should borrow the nutcase lab that lives in the next row, he is waaaay keen to run. The owner is getting driven demented by him

He's 4, and normally he gets walked every day, this week however we've been going running. Today though I think he just didn't fancy it. Bet by Sunday he'll be dying to get out for a run though.

I'll be taking him a walk after dinner, he's really needing that instead of a run. He's not normally fussed about going a walk or for a run.

Keep an eye on him on the walk.

Could be he was just comfy where he was, but refusal for walks, or stopping whilst on them when they don't usually can indicate some discomfort.

Nah, he's fine, he was bouncing around trying to get OH to play earlier, just he decided that he did not want to do the running thing...it's all uphill too, and there's just the occasional wee stop.

Think I may take to going running on my own and taking him a walk in the afternoon instead...

that does sound a little bit better if he is not too fussed on the runs but maybe take him once a week.
