Charlie & Boe - DOB 05/14, Both Male, Sprockers

Charlie & Boe Sprockers DOB 05.14 Broxbourne Kenns

Charlie & Boe need to find a family who can help them catch up & develop skills and settle their excitement meeting dogs outside. Their family should be up for 2 'puppy dogs' which currently need 2 people to walk and need to attend a training course to instil discipline and recognise voice commands, and improve their confidence and skill base as they are behind their milestones ref their physical chronological age. Charlie & Boe are best living as a pair without other dogs due to their family meeting their acute needs. They could live with older dog savvy children or younger visiting children. They are friendly and willing. Owners should be aware of breed type, as so support their understanding. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Charlie & Boe became stray as a consequence to a car accident. Their owner was hospitalised but on discharge, despite having 2 police visits, did not reclaim them from the pound. Both came to our Rescue 10.2.15, we neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated them. They were briefly homed and return to us due to obvious skill deficit. Charlie and Boe are now in kennels in Broxbourne.

About Charlie & Boe: Brothers in need. Brothers in deed. Charlie and Boe are friendly, energetic and keen to please. They are true to breed type; enthusiasm is their code, their raison d'etre. There are nerves which manifests in Charlie with barking when out as he tries to acclimatize to share territory and grasp what is expected from him in the huge arena. Boe is more nervous within close up encounters and tried to warn off dogs in the pack initially hiding behind the kennel owners legs, but was flowing with the pack the next day. They share their kennel with a terrier and are mixed into the kennel pack and gaining confidence.

Charlie has the whiter muzzle and slighter build: Boe has a flecked muzzle and heavier set. They are both born May 14 and are litter brothers. We think Sprockers but could be Sprollies. Yes they are both naive, inept and there is reasoning to suggest they may benefit being split and integrated each with a more confident dog. We are hesitating and first giving it our all, to find a caring home who can focus in and gradually allow both in their different ways and at different speeds to mature and stay as forever brothers
