Gone but never forgotten

Inspired by Azz's threads, a tribute to those dogs we have loved and lost.

My wonderful boy Bandit....

This boy entered our lives at 9 weeks old as a time waster did not want him, I thank God to this day he came to us and no one else, he sadly left us at 11 yrs of age, every day was special , and I will never ever regret a day with him.

I loved this boy , and will forever miss him

I dare not go through my doggy photographs looking at all the ones I have lost, I will be in pieces, so I will just post the first Mini I had in 1964...

What a good idea for a thread. Even if it may result in a few tears being shed

First pic is Merlin. June 19th 2000 - April 2011

He survived cancer at 9 years old, hence why he only had three legs.

Then there's Binky, my big cowardly lion 8th April 2001 - 26th July 2012 He's still the softest dog I've ever known.

Him and Merlin were a real pair.

Then there's Bob, my shadow. I only had the joy of knowing him for 19 months but he'll stay with me forever. Dec 2010 - 21st July 2012 he lived with me. He was 11 or 12 years old when he passed.

And I can't neglect to mention Thomas my childhood dog, sadly I have no digital photo's of him.

I'm all choked up posting these. You never get over losing them do you? I don't know what else to say, other than I never did and I never will.

Simba. My childhood best friend. We lost him at around 8 years old when he lost the use of his back legs.

Toby - came to me at the age of around 5 or so (I was never sure). Lost him to Cushing's at around 14.

Why do we do it to ourselves, have shed a few myself whilst looking through my photos.

Sadly I like you I don't have digital photos of dogs past in my youth.
