Hello all, help needed x

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well,

work is taking up so much of my time at the moment I just never get time to come on

anyhoo....

I could use some help....
a work colleague has asked me to help her find a new dog, so obviously my first stop would be dogsey

they are an older couple Margret still works part time while her husband is now retired, they are looking for ...
preferably a bitch
4+ years old,
Collie "type" but the right dog is more important than type,
they are looking for a dog that is active enough to enjoy hill walking and the odd munro as margret's hubby is a very keen walker, but they do not want a puppy or young dog.
the home is located in central Scotland,.
this will be a first class home, I will also be on hand for this dog to aid with any training required,
So if you know of any dogs in rescue that you feel would be the right dog for them, let us know
feel free to cross post on other sites

thanks all

hi ya

What a great sounding home - I'll have a look round some of the rescue sites, there's bound to be a girly suitable for them somewhere.

Must get to catch up soon!

Just found this rather lovely girl in NCDL Glasgow

//www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/tilly1046572.aspx

She is housetrained, playful, active and sounds a real delight. However she does have some confidence issues by the sound of it, but with the good home offered I am sure that she would be absolutely fine.

Heres a wee list (I love looking for dogs ):

http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/penny1051600.aspx - Penny (not sure if she may have too much energy?)

http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/sadie1018710.aspx - Sadie

http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/lucky1045784.aspx - Lucky (seems like a sweet little dog although needs some training)

http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/cleo1052364.aspx - Cleo (she looks gorgeous!!)

http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/roxy1060931.aspx - Roxy (I think she is my favourite seems like a lovely girl although she needs someone to bring her out her shell)

Hope that helped a little

Hello you. No advice really other than local rescues maybe and you go with them to ensure suitable temprament etc? Good luck to them and their new family member when they choose her x
