Thank you all xx

Yes trap still set, but no Mom as yet.
The trio are doing really really well, eyes are less sticky (thanks to meds) but hazy blue as so young, thankfully no damage to eyes and no sneezing and de-flea'd

waifs doing very well, all normal poos and wee's. Nothing
of Mom
Have offered to look after kittens for CPL and suggested they 'point' good homes in my direction (when old enough) and they can keep any proceeds....hopefully that will help them re-home/help other cats

Very sorry to hear of Colin. As others have said, it's NOT "just a.....".

We've lost a couple of our smaller animals over the summer but we seem to be back on track now. It's great that you're helping the kittens and rescuing others does take your mind off your loss a little bit, although it doesn't diminish in any way.

We've just taken on a rescue Syrian Hamster and Chinese Dwarf Hamster. They won't be going anywhere though. We lost our older Syrian boy about a month ago so these 2 will be staying with us.

I do believe that things happen for a reason and maybe these little ones were sent to you, because you would look after them and maybe because you lost Colin too.

Take care,

Laura xx

Sorry to hear about Colin, too. 15 years however are a great age for a cat and I'm sure you made his life one for him to boast with over the rainbow bridge

It is quite a coincidence to find the kittens just when Colin died, maybe a sign.
Happy to read you are looking after the little ones and I hope their mum can be found.
Are they interested in food other than milk yet?

I used to breed cats a while ago and always started them on cat milk + minced meat (blend together) which worked out nicely.

Good luck with the little ones!

Thank you All for the lovely thoughts regards Colin x

The kittens are eating well, raw....as that has maintained a really stable diet with no messy fall puts

Yes they are lapping and they love water so again they are thriving well, the cimicat is available but watered down although they rarely bother with that.

After loads of problems with a very uncooperative neighbor she has finally agreed to leave the trap out tomorrow so CPL can come and get Mom, spay her and rehome and they will have the kittens too
Homes will be home-checked and when they are old enough they will be found perfect laps to sit on....as will Mom (hopefully)

I am sorry for your loss. It is devastating losing any pet, but after 15, I'm guessing brilliant, years it must be very hard. I know you have heard this before but look at the good times, the laughter and love. Make your self laugh. It could really help you cope...

Good luck with your kittens, raising a litter is hard work but well worth the stress in the end!

Well all three kittens were picked up at 5.30 by CPL said our goodbyes.

The Mom cat............well the neighbor says she has gone missing

But officially I have the best Husband in the world....because at 7pm I had a conversation with CPL letting me know that the little Black Boy had been reserved for a new home when he was old enough (approx 4 weeks time) by a man called MR PATRICK YOUNG ..............for his wife
