Red nosed......Staffy?

Now I know you get red nosed APBT's that have a chocolate / red coat, but do you get staffy's with red noses and chocolate coats? And if not...... why!?

I was just wondering as I love the colour of the choc / red pits with red noses, but don't think I have ever seen a staffy with those colourings

Thats great! I have really got a thing for rednosed dogs, they looks incredible, especially with that deep reddish chocolate colour

I wonder why it is frowned upon?

I have no idea Tom, but liver colour as well as black and tan are not allowed in the staffie, neither is the red nose.
Silly if you ask me but I dont make the rules

("just as well" everyone mutters under their breath lol lol )

Did Joe mallen et al decide the red nosed chocolate dog was fit for the standard?

Err, I wasn't implying it was?

And do you mean he decided the red nose was or wasn't to be included in the standard?
they are generally frowned upon by the show fraternity
well I have never seen the standard that declared the red nosed/chocolate staffy was compliant?
Most staffys are lovely-
all colours/all sizes/etc but if we expand the standard tooooo much then we lose the staffy standard and create a different dog surely?

In America the pitbull standard is quite loose (any colour goes / wide range of weight and size) and a pitbull is still a pitbull, same temperement etc. (apart from the obvious cross breeds).
