How did you introduce your dogs to your new baby?

As per title really, I'm not sure how best to prepare our dobie for the arrival of a new baby?

when i had sam, my sister had my nephew and he just took to him... he loved him and lay next to his cot or carry thing to protect him

my other sister is pregnant just now though, so will have to try and introduce jake to the new baby... think he will just take to this one too...

I brought a blanket home from hospital that baby had been wrapped in. Jake put it in his bed and slept on it. When Baby came home, Jake was very determined to give him a kiss but settled down well and very quickly. So, for me, introduce scent first!

I didn't do any preparing!! I just came home with the baby and allowed the dogs to come and say hello and they were great.

I think it helps if you know your dogs personality. If you have laid back dogs who aren't jealous then I can't see any problems.
