I remember these things from the eighties - brought back a whole load of memories - I really feel old when people say they weren't even born in the eighties - I started primary school in 1981 - seems such a long time ago now but remember it clearly - I so badly wanted to be a punk but my mum wouldn't let me - wonder why?


oh yeh and when I grew up I was going to marry Adam Ant!!!

I am just a child now at 36, but you brought back so many memories, but you forgot the two tone clothes, the footless tights, madness ( i was is love with suggs, still am but don't tell the hubby), the specials and fatty reggae, oh the time of my life,LOL.

Hey did the UK get the spaceman drinks back in the 80's - they were clear soft plastic bottles in the shape of an astronaut filled with cordial?

They were so cool - and I remember the time where it would cost 2 cents (nz cents) to get 5 aniseed lollies, we used to save our cents up and tried the patience of the shop keeper...LOL
