Thought Pointers were supposed to have good eyesight!

So today on our walk, I had to encourage Louie over a fence so in doing so - imagine my shock when this Pointer comes running straight at me - I'm thinking he can see me, he's not going to run into me, we're in plain sight he can see me...

NOPE!

He ran into me, knocked me flat on the floor.. not even soft landing, rubble/sand type paths.

Meanwhile Leanne's trying so hard not to laugh but asking me if I'm alright, I get up laughing my head off telling her not to worry - the only thing that hurt was my ear and I think that was the wind..

To add insult to injury he then wee'd up Louie

I think it would be fair to say he jumped the fence and landed square on your chest!

I think he has caused as many injuries to humans as he's caused to himself. He gave me a black eye, he landed on the shoulder of our agility instructor when he fell off the dog walk, causing her to see a chiropractor, he's ran into my ex's legs chasing a hare and knocked him clean off his feet and now he's jumped on you and knocked you over.

The dog is a liability to others and himself.

Sounds exactly like Rupert to be honest Leanne. Bloody noses, split lips, black eyes, a tailbone so badly bruised I literally couldn't sit down for 2 weeks and had to so extremely carefully for the next few months after that! I've also been rolled down a hill into a ditch full of some sort of oil. All these injuries through excitement or him not thinking that ploughing into the human is going to cause human to go flying Oh but he has excellent aim with men, right in the balls every time

Sounds like our Breagh to me - always clobbering stuff.

Perhaps it's the pointer in her.
