lethargic dog what could it be?

hi!
since we came home from our trip a week ago, Jack has been very lethargic and sleeps all the time. while sleeping, he shivers, even when he slees under covers with me in the bed. he looks unhappy with himself
but if i mention "walkies" he jumps
that is why i havent take him to the vets yet as there is nothing much to show....
any suggestions what it might be?
thank you in advance

no. he was with me we went for a looong walk(our trip)
i believed that he was tired so he only had small walkies from then on. but a week long tiredness? that seems long, considering that he was in good shape before and that we did walked slowly with LOTS of brakes (me and my bro arent in that good shape ) and during our trip he didnt seem tired and he was jumpig on every rock he found and in every hole we passed by....
when we came home he immediately brought me a ball (russelll terriers )
but from the next day... he is poor

to be honest I would probably head to the vets - you know your dog best and its better to be safe than sorry,

Is it very warm where you are at moment as that can make them lazy/lethargic but if its not - a wee trip to the vets wont do any harm !!

Hi JP is Jack eating/peeing and pooing ok? Does he look ok generally ,not walking funny/'tucked up', is he drinking/peeing more . If everything else seems normal I would let him rest for a couple of days then see how he is, if the tiredness/unusual behaviour continues I would see the vet

after what i've just been through with my jazzie, i would advise that you go to the vet.
jazzie was very sleepy and shakey, it took the vets a while to work it out but it turned out to be a huge abcess which then had to be removed!

i don't want to scare you i promise, but its better to be safe than sorry!
