Joining in for tips and advice

Hi read through some of the threads and there is some really good advice..i have a cocker he is 4yrs old now and suddenly having probs with the outside lower jaw (smelly and there seems to be little lumps) i have been using salt water to keep it clean and cut his fur short (he wont let me use the shaver) not blisters and no heads any advice appreciated, tho wondering if i should take him to the vets as its re-occuring

I would take your dog to the vets if it is a recurring condition.

Could be a lip fold dermatitis (could be a number of other things as well) A vet is your best bet. I don't know what its like in the UK, but here cockers are notorious for their skin issues, so if this is a chronic problem, its best to address it now before it gets out of control.
