Sweet Williams

What do I do with the plants once flowered and died off?
Cut back? Or dig out?

Thanks

I don't think they do come up again, they are biennials not perenials, so I think once they have flowered that's it, they then set seed and may reproduce from the seeds but not from the original roots like the perenials. Does that make sense?

Yeah think that's what I would do, haven't actually grown them in years though, don't think they have much in the way of roots anyway they will probably just die back and self seed, and that's why you might confuse them with perennials.

I haven't planted any for years either, but did a tub for my Dad of his favourite flowers and they were one of them and you sow them one year but they flower the next.Think thats where the biennial comes in.Mine are coming along nicely but won't flower till next summer.
