Dogs dyed strange colours - what is your view?

What is everyone's opinions of dogs that are dyed obscure colours. Personally I HATE to see a poodle or any dog for that matter dyed bright pink or green or blue or................ Really is taking the fashion accessory bit to the extreme.

eek hate it, along with dressing up dogs in clothes, shoes, and carrying them around like a purse!

edited to say: its up to the owner if thats wot they wanna do, but i would never do it and i cringe when i see it .lol. morally wrong its like dressing up ur 5 yr old daughter in high heels, mini skirts, nail extensions and what not! which i have actually seen! cringe!

Its not somthing that i would do to my boys. I have how ever seen a dog come into the groomers with pink varnis on nails the owner mentiond that he wasnt cocking his leg yet at 2yr old. My boss replied well would you with nails like that

So many people see dogs as a fashon accessory now its going to do nothing for the breed.

Don't think it cruel; to the dog it would only be like having a shampoo, dogs don't care too much as long as they get attention and love.

Daft, now I would agree with that, but just as we would not tell someone what colour collar and lead to use then coat clipping and colouring is up to the owner. We make our dogs sleep on the floor and others let them on the bed, it's a matter of how you want to treat your dogs and some dogs are spoilt rotten, diamond collars, painted nails, coloured coat cut into a smart shape and a quilted soft bed to sit upon, mine are covered in mud and have to sit on the equally wet muddy floor, bet they would rather be pampered pooches but that is not my style, even OH is not pampered unless he pampers himself; come to think of it neither am I.

What i worry about is when the dog is washing itself, it must be ingesting a small amount of this dye. I may be wrong though.

I just pmsl at any dog I see like that. Wouldnt do it myself but each to their own as long as the dog isnt being made to suffer for it.
